Faith and vocation are the cornerstones of my life. Serving as the ADON at Hickory Behavioral Hospital reflects over 30 years of nursing, where my dedication to behavioral health has found its true calling. My journey is shared with my high school sweetheart, now my spouse of 35 years, and our family has grown to include two wonderful sons and three cherished grandchildren. I’m invigorated by the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the East Texas community alongside the Hickory team.

Rick Lipitz, Director of Nutrition at Hickory Network Texas

Richard A. Lippitz (Rick), Director of Nutrition

Born in Florida but raised in New Jersey, I found my love for cooking early, right in front of the TV and in my mom’s kitchen. Picked up some skills from Yemeni chefs and took it up a notch at the Culinary Institute of America, class of ’81. Been cooking ever since, except when I was behind the wheel of a semi for a bit.

I’ve whipped up dishes in hotels, clubs, and healthcare—recently shifted to running things in Senior Living down in Texas, opening places in Midlothian and Red Oak.

Just me, my kids, Bryce and Carianne. No grandkids.

LaDonna Hill, BSN, RN, Infection Prevention and Employee Health Nurse

I’m passionate about health promotion, both professionally and personally, enjoying time with family, traveling, and exploring new ways to improve wellness.

Lin Bailey, RN, Patient Advocate

QA/Patient Advocate at Hickory Behavioral of Longview and a dedicated RN for nearly four decades, I’ve found my niche across varied healthcare settings and have led as a Director of Nursing in skilled nursing facilities for over three decades. My academic journey took me from the University of Akron to Ohio State University and led to a diploma from North Central Ohio State College School of Nursing.

At home, I’m surrounded by love—married with three children and blessed with six grandchildren.
