Intensive Outpatient Program

Treatment for Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disorders

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Hickory Behavioral Health Center in Ohio is tailored for those whose current needs do not require residential treatment. Clients often begin IOP after completion of a residential treatment program (RTC). However, that is not a requirement, and clients seeking substance use or dual diagnosis IOP treatment are welcome from any referral source.

Clients attend IOP for 3 days a week (M-W-F), 3 hours daily to reinforce sober living and recovery skills while expanding their knowledge of learned coping strategies and techniques. As with our Residential Treatment Program, the IOP at Hickory Behavioral Health Center employs evidence-based treatment modalities for treating addiction and co-occurring disorders.

We coordinate your treatment with your referring and current professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach that meets your individual needs.

We work with all major commercial health insurance programs and will verify your benefits prior to admission.

Your IOP Recovery includes:

– Evidence-based treatment with a licensed therapist
– Private, confidential location; transportation may be arranged
– Snacks prepared daily by the Executive Chef at Hickory House
– Access to the gym, yoga studio
