    AhNonda Bates, MS, LCAC, Chief Clinical Director

    AhNonda has over 13 years of clinical experience as an Addictions Therapist, with 5 years in leadership as a Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Vice President. AhNonda is a graduate from Purdue University with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Law and Society. 

    She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Community Psychology 2008 from Martin University and obtained her clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in 2011. She specializes in the treatment of Addictions, Dual Diagnosis, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, grief, and Bipolar Disorder. Additionally, AhNonda has 8 years of experience as an adjunct professor teaching Introduction to Addictions Studies, Introduction to Behavioral Sciences, and Crisis Intervention Strategies online and in the classroom.

    In her spare time, AhNonda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being an unofficial and unpaid foodie, and catching up on murder mystery tv series and movies.

    Chestena Roberts, Client Care Coodinator

    Chestena has 5 years experience in mental health and addictions and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master’s degree in Psychology. She is currently earning a PhD. in Industrial-organizational Psychology at Walden University. Chestena has 8 years experience as an adjunct professor in psychology teaching introduction psychology, developmental psychology, and abnormal psychology. Chestena’s professional background is in intake and admission administration with specialty in assessment and diagnosis, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, and dual diagnosis.

    In her personal time, Chestena enjoys exercising, weight-lifting, and strength training, spending time with family, and volunteering in the community.

    Teresa Wyatt, Behavior Health Technician Manager

    Teresa came to Hickory Treatment Center in Indianapolis after almost 12 years’ experience working in Behavioral Health/Addictions. Teresa’s passion to help those in recovery has grown through her work and personal experience with loved ones struggling with addiction. As BHT Manager Teresa works diligently to make sure her staff feel supported in their roles and are eager to grow in their careers. Teresa strives to create an environment that the clients feel safe in and can be successful in during the early stages of their recovery. She is always searching for ways to improve the clients experience at Hickory by listening to client and staff concerns, searching for resources to assist clients after discharge, and bringing in volunteer services that provide extra support for the clients while at Hickory.  In her free time, she likes to spend time with her three daughters, go for walks with her dogs, and catch up on her favorite shows. Teresa hopes to continue to grow in her career through additional trainings and certifications, and to share with others her passion for the clients we serve.

    DeKita Pollard, Senior Case Manager

    My name is DeKita Pollard, and I am the Senior Case Manager with Hickory Treatment Center-Indianapolis.   I earned my degree from Ball State University.  I have been in the field of addiction/recovery and mental health for over 20 years.  A random fact about me: I love all things glitter!  In my free time, I enjoy traveling, gardening and bargain shopping.

    Sean Reaves, Executive Director

    Sean Reaves has over 20 years operations and management experience in both the profit and nonprofit sectors. Most recently before joining the Hickory team, Sean spent the last ten years serving the Indianapolis community working for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. While at the YMCA, Sean led the operations team at the Irsay Family YMCA as the Associate Executive Director. Sean is passionate about serving his community and helping those who suffer from addictions.  

     Sean is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Adult and Career Education. In his free time Sean enjoys coaching travel softball and spending time with his family.

    Dr. James D. Pike, D.O.

    Dr. Pike is a native of Indianapolis who attended medical school in Kansas City, graduating from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1984. After ten years in the United States Army as a physician, Dr. Pike completed his training in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. Dr. Pike’s role as a hospitalist began during his work at a long-term acute care hospital beginning in 1994. He then formed his own corporation in 2007 while developing an association with the Indiana Orthopedic Hospital on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Dr. Pike was the founding Chair, Dean’s Advisory Board, Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Today, Dr. Pike serves as the Chief Medical Officer of GeriCare Indy, overseeing a team of nurse practitioners who provide care to patients in skilled nursing facilities. With the opening of Hickory Recovery Network and Hickory Treatment Centers Indianapolis, Dr. Pike has expanded his practice to drug and alcohol treatment and serves as its inaugural medical director.

    Aisha A. Moore, Director of Nursing, RN

    Her personality is upbeat, fun-loving, and exudes her dedication to the art of nursing. Aisha is service-minded with expertise in client advocacy, therapeutic communication, and milieu management. She is capable of collaborating and working effectively with Clients, Doctors, Nurse practitioners, and Clinical staff at Hickory Recovery Network and Hickory Treatment Centers. Some of her skills include addiction nursing, medication management/administration, and managing drug & alcohol withdrawal symptoms. She has a gifted ability to stay calm and personable during stressful situations. She obtained her education at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana earning the 2010 holistic and student mentor awards. Aisha also has a background in mental health, rehabilitation nursing, and long-term healthcare. Aisha continues to grow, provides nursing leadership and is an asset to the Hickory Treatment Network.
